THINGS FOR

Yes, I know its that time where we all plan our new years resolutions which we never get round to completing or even starting, however this year I plan to be different and set myself realistic goals which can be achieved this year.

1. Get fit and into shape - Every year we all say "January is gym time", we all go for the first two weeks and thats about it. I've decided that I am not made for the gym I would much rather stay at home and work out on my own. For the past few months I've been following a Pilates video and I'm actually seeing results. Me and my friend Tayler decided that in the new year we are to complete this workout video twice a week. I may even invest some of my makeup budget into some work out clothes I'm that determined.

2. Book a holiday - I am so happy to announce that I have already completed this one and my holiday for 2015 is booked! I may have posted on Twitter where I'm off to but I might leave you guys waiting a little longer to find out.. Even though my week away is planned I'm still looking for maybe another little weekend away somewhere too.

3. Apply for University - I'm still very indecisive about whether I want to go to Uni or not. I've only attended one open day, which wasn't very promising, however staying at my current job forever is not the life for me.

4. Pass my driving test - Now I don't know how long this is going to take me. I've been having lessons since June 2014 and I'd say I'm almost there however I really am just so lazy. I have no intentions of booking a theory which is awful from me so I really need to start pushing myself and gathering some motivation because I'm only wasting money!

5. Dedicating my time elsewhere - I feel that everybody from this era should agree with me when I say we spend far too much time updating statuses, writing tweets and constantly scrolling through instragram looking at what strangers are up to. I really want to leave my Internet obsession behind in 2014, being a blogger I understand I cannot completely desert the social media, especially when I wish to study "Media Communications" however I am willing to limit myself.

So there you have it, my 5 goals I wish to atleast attempt in 2015, what are yours? Are any of mine what you wish to achieve?

WHAT I GOT FOR CHRISTMAS

Happy 27th everybody! Sorry I haven't posted much over the Christmas period but my family spend a lot of time together over the holiday and I haven't had much time to get onto my laptop. Anyways, I hope you all had a lovely Christmas and enjoyed your day! I know I had a lovely few days but tonight it's back to work for me:( Now please do not feel that I am bragging or showing off in anyway by doing one of these posts, I absolutely love seeing what you all got for Christmas so I thought why not do my own post?

Every Christmas I get lovely perfumes, my family know I absolutely love them and its the easiest gift to buy for me! My brother got me Yves Saint Laurent - Black Opium which was actually on my wish list I posted on here "Go Kam".  My parents then got me Michael Kors - GLAM Jasmine, which is gorgeous! And then Bruno bought me a Victorias Secret body mist, he knows how much I adore the Hollister sprays so he looked into these ones and chose correctly, a strawberry and champagne scent is beautiful.

*Angels Singing* I have wanted this Too Faced limited edition set for ages and Bruno done well this year! The first chance I got I wore Marshmallow Bunny and I am completely in love.

I finally got my Zoeva brushes from my Mum and Dad! Put it this way, right now I've already forgotten about the other brushes I own.

Now above is my glory present. I do own a Michael Kors watch however I started wearing it to work and for every day occasions so they thought it would be nice to get me another one for special occasions. It's a lot smaller than your usual MK watch as its a mini, but isn't the face just beautiful.

I did get a few other bits such as clothes, and the classic socks and undies and of course the chocolate goodies! So what did you guys get for Christmas? leave a link below.

WHO DOESN'T LOVE A DUPE? MAC- GRAIN

Afternoon lovelies! Unfortunately I am off work and cannot fulfil my elf duties as my immune system hates me and at this present moment in time I am unable to speak and my Mother loves it. However thats good news for you as I am still able to write and publish some posts. A little different to my christmas posts as I thought a change was needed.
So, whilst I was in Portugal I saw a Kiko store. I've heard of the brand but never really had an interest in checking it out, however I had some euros to spare and thought why not. I have to say I was in make up heaven, a pretty big store for make-up so I was completely mind blown and the prices were crazy! I picked one eyeshadow in 236 - Pearly Champagne for what is converted to £5.90, bargain right?
I absolutely love the eyeshadow and wore it for the next 3 days I was there. When I got home I placed it in my make up storage next to my Mac quad and realised a similarity to Mac Grain. And the dupe was formed!

Mac Grain
As expected from Mac the eyeshadow retails for £13 in its individual packaging and £10 for a pan refill. This eyeshadow is a little more satin rather than a shimmer making it look more pigmented than the Kiko Pearly Champagne.
Kiko 236 Pearly Champagne
This shadow retails for £5.90 less that half the price of Macs grain! This shadow has a little more shimmer than grain making it perfect for a lid colour, brow highlighter and inner corner shade.

Have you guys tried any Kiko products? If you have drop me a comment with your recommendations! Thank you.

MAKE UP GIFTS FOR THE..

Hello everyone, apologies for the lack of blog posts again I've just been so tied up at work and applying for Uni I haven't had much time to myself, I haven't even bought my Christmas presents which is a major issue for me! Anyways, this month I am going to be super busy so unfortunately I cannot promise more than one post per week however I will try my very best to post as much as I can! So from that note here are my gifts for the...

Eyeshadow Enthusiast

CHANEL LES 4 OMBRES Multi-Effect Quadra Eyeshadow 232 - £40.

Being an eyeshadow enthusiast I have been admiring this product by Chanel for months now. I think the colours are so different to your everyday palette. You have your very strong pigmented green in the top left which would look perfect to line the bottom lash line, a peachy shade in the top right which would look stunning on the lid, you then have your highlight shadow in the bottom left and to the bottom right you have then green/grey shade which would look great if you popped that into your outer corner. I think this gift would be perfect for anybody that lusts over eyeshadow all the shades are absolutely beautiful and who doesn't admire a Chanel product?

Lipgloss Lover
Stilla Putting on the Glitz Lip Glaze Set - £27.50 ... VALUE £93!
This little set is adorable and you will be loved forever if you buy a lipgloss lover this gift. This set consists of 8 lip glazes; glamour, gleam, glint, glow, glitter, glimmer, glisten & glory, it also includes a glitz, gold headband as a little extra for your lipgloss lover. The presentation of the lip glazes is also just so cute with the golden tower. You don't even need to own certain shades of lipsticks to wear underneath your glaze, as you get 8 you can play around with colours and pair them with anything!

Blush and Highlighter Bug

Urban Decay Naked Flushed - £22
I've had my eye on this since about October, I've seen the flushed collection many times but only really looked at it then. There are a number of different palettes consisting of a bronzer, highlighter and a blush which suits everyone depending on your skin tone. My personal favourite is the palette "Streak". This product would be perfect for a blush/highlighter/bronzer lover as THEY GET ALL THREE which go perfectly together, what more could they ask for?

I have to admit I am the eyeshadow enthusiast, which category would you fall under?

CHRISTMAS WISHLIST

Goodmorning everyone! Or "Bom Dia" shall I say after my recent trip to Portugal. So as you have all guessed I am back home which means more blog posts from myself are planned and are ready to be posted this week! Being the 1st of December, which reminds me.. where is my advent calendar?
Anyways, the 1st of December always calls for a Christmas wishlist so I hope you guys are ready to see mine?

Now you may think I have quite a bit on my christmas list this year, however to me this is nothing. As I've been working full time and been earning more money I can buy myself things, so this year I haven't thought of LOADS to beg my mum for. I know a few of these items are a little on the pricey side but just to let you all know I am fully aware I will not be receiving all these items and may have to purchase some myself, but there isn't anything wrong with that, you have to treat yourself sometimes right?
So above I have four items which are listed from right to left -

Nars Duo Eyeshadow in Alhambra - £25. The duo consists of the colours Metallic Rose Mist and Gold Champagne. This duo just seems perfect for me as rose and gold shades happen to be my favourite for eyeshadows.

Zoeva Rose Gold Brushes - £55. You may have seen these in my October favourites and I never got round to purchasing them, however I have persuaded my mum and I saw them come in the post the other day, yippeee! So much excitement. So expect a review after Christmas on these brushes!

Two Faced Under The Mistletoe Christmas Gift Set Lipsticks - £27. This little set is absolutely adorable and is probably one of my most wanted from this wish list. It consists of three lipsticks from Two Faced; Naked Dolly, Marshmallow Bunny and Spice Spice Baby, three of the brands most popular shades in one gift set, sounds perfect right? Not to mention the cute sparkly pink makeup bag included.

Dolce & Gabbana Dolce Eau De Parfum 30ml - £44.50. I saw this perfume in a favourites video months ago and always wanted to find it and whilst I was in Debenhams I came across it and fell in love. It has such a feminine scent consisting of a number of flowers which just smells beautiful.

French Connection Outfit - Sparkle Ray Skirt in Jacquard £99. I just adore this skirt for its high rise and metallic look, you could really dress this up or go smart casual as seen in the image above.
French Connection Cropped French T-Shirt - £30. I love how this top completes the smart casual look with its jersey fabric and little cropped style.

YSL Black Opium - £43.50. I smelt this whilst I was at the airport going to Portugal and it really is gorgeous. It has such a sweet scent that reminds me of pic'n'mix or liquorice, don't be scared off by that I can assure you the overall smell is beautiful.

Kurt Geiger Light Grey Saffiano London Tote Bag - £199. After my recent love with my Michael Kors bag Bruno got me for my birthday I have become bag obsessed and I am looking at them on a daily basis. When I was at the airport I found another little beauty which is this Kurt Geiger bag, I really did fall in love again and gave Bruno "The Eyes" but I don't think I convinced him enough, maybe next time;)

Kurt Geiger Saffiano Zip Wallet Red Purse - £80. I promise this is my last find from Luton airport, but it is this red purse from KG. I just go crazy whenever I see Saffiano it makes any product look classy and chic and I basically I just need this purse in my life.

So there you guys have it, my Christmas wishlist! Leave a comment on what you think and link me your Christmas lists too as I'd love to have a little nose around.

MY SKIN PERFECTER

Evening girls! I think one of the most asked questions within the beauty bloggers society is what is the trick to good skin? I've had my time trying every product on the stand and I'm so glad it's come to an end. During my younger years I suffered from hay fever and my skin underneath my eyes down to my cheeks used to peel which has now left me with a little scaring however I finically found a solution! I purchased L'Oreals Skin Perfecting Advanced Correcting Serum and I am now onto my 4th bottle as I absolutely adore this stuff! The product itself is quite a thin consistency, not similar to moisturiser in the slightest which I think is perfect as it dries relatively quick! The great thing about this is that I apply it every night before bed and my skin is still moist the morning after ready for makeup application!
Overall I think this is a great product as it leaves my skin super smooth everytime, my skin has noticeably improved since using the serum, for example my skin is gradually turning to one shade and the visibility of my scaring is decreasing, also I am not breaking out as much either which is a bonus! I literally only use this product on my skin, I don't even use face was I simply wash my face with a warm flannel to ensure my face is clean and then use a toner also. So then girls if you're trying to find a skin solution then you might have just discovered one! Let me know if you have seen a change in your skin too if you decide to purchase it!

BEAUTY QUOTE

“Beauty, to me, is about being comfortable in your own skin. That, or a kick-ass red lipstick. “- Gwyneth Paltrow
My exact thoughts on Mac's keepsake red lip bag.

THE MAKEUP TAG

What foundation do you use?
I am currently using two foundations. My first is the Studio Fix Powder Foundation by Mac and this is what I wear to work or if I just want a light coverage if i'm leaving the house in a hurry. And the second foundation I use is Chanel's Lumiere Perfection and I wear this when I'm going out or to a special event.

How about concealer?
I use quite a few, recently I have been switching between Mac concealers and I use; studio fix, prolong wear and select cover-up.

What do you think of false lashes?
I absolutely love to wear lashes I think they complete your overall look, however I wouldn't wear them on a everyday basis, only for an occasion or if I am taking pictures for my blog.

What brand of mascara do you use?

I switch between so many and plan to try so many, right now I am using Benefits They're Real, Loreal's Voluminous and Maybelline Falsies mascara.

Sephora or MAC?

I live in England so I do not have a Sephora so I will compare it to House of Fraser where there are plenty of brands and I would definitely prefer to shop there.

What makeup tools do you use?
I'm guessing this is just a general question? So obviously my real techniques brushes, I mean who doesn't have those? I also couldn't live without my tweezers of ear buds, they are perfect for correcting slight make up errors.

Do you use and eyeshadow primer?
Yes I do, I use whatever Urban Decay primer I have in my draw at the time.

What is your favourite eyeshadow?
This is so so hard having a love for eyeshadows, but I would have to say Trick from the Naked 3 Palette.

What do you think of Pigment eyeshadows?

I absolutely love them, my favourite is Macs Naked pigment and I plan to purchase a lot more!

What is your fave lipstick?
I have far too many so I'll choose my favourite everyday lipstick which is Chanel - Boy, a dark nude.

What is your fave blusher to use?
Mac - Seduced at Sea, and it was from the aquatic collection, the packaging is adorable and the colour looks great on my complexion!

Do you like drugstore makeup?
Definitely! Who wouldn't want to find a cheaper option? However I will admit I am a bit of a brand whore..

Name a makeup crime you hate.
This is a tricky one.. I'm not a major fan of applying moisturiser before my primer and foundation I just think it defeats the point of a matte finish, I'd much rather apply it the night before so my face is slightly moist and not greasy.

Do you like colorful shades of makeup or neutrals?
It depends because I love pink shades! However I think I much prefer neutrals.

If you could leave the house with just one makeup item what would it be?
Mine would have to be mascara, I'm not a fan of wearing foundation/concealer and nothing else, it just doesn't look right.

Could leave the house with no makeup on?
I'd rather not but if I'm in a rush then yes I could.

In your opinion, what's the best makeup line?
I do love MAC, i just think every product I've bought I have been satisfied with and I love all their different collections!

I Tag everyone who has read my tag to participate and leave me a comment once you've posted yours so I can take look at your blog post!

MAC- KEEPSAKES REP LIP BAG

It's that time of year! Christmas is on the way and Mac have released their holiday editions and I am so excited to collect, collect, collect! I recently purchased their Keepsakes Red Lip bag, it consists of a lipstick, lip liner and lip glass in the shade Ruby Woo, one of macs most popular reds. I had been meaning to pick up the lipstick of Ruby Woo for ages and I thought this was the perfect opportunity to do so as I'm getting two other products, not to mention a free make up bag, which is absolutely adorable. The makeup bag is of medium size covered in white glitter with a gorgeous pearl trim around the zip.

The aim of this set is to wear all products together, however I'm not too sure the lip glass could be used for every day use due to how much it enhances the drama of your overall look, yet it is still a beautiful colour and the consistency of the product is great.

This set only retails for £32 on the Mac website. Also available are the Keepsake lip bags in both Nude and Coral. Are you guys going to purchase the red, nude or coral?
Lipliner, Lipstick and Lipglass in RUBY WOO.

FRIDAY FAVOURITES; ACCESSORIES

Evening! I'm a little late on my favourites as I've been at work but I was determined to get a post up by the end of today. This week I decided I would present you all with my favourite accessories this season. I'm hoping that most of you agree, but when you go shopping do you just stick to one colour throughout your shop? I know I do, and at the moment I am obsessed with black and gold and that is all I'm wearing this season! So as you've guessed all my favourite accessories this week are black and gold! What are you favourite accessories this season?

Unfortunately I was unable to find a link to my watch as I got it around a year ago.

KA-BOOM

Evening everyone and Happy Bonfire Night! I hope you all had a lovely evening and were able to watch some beautiful fireworks. I am ever so lucky to be a Center Parcs employee and attend their yearly firework display! They always put on a great show and know how to entertain us all with their beautiful range of colours lighting up the sky and the dramatic and cheesy music which I just find hilarious. As me and Bruno both work there we decided to take his family along as we're aloud to bring a few guests as they have never seen the fireworks at CP, it was so nice to spend time with them all and take a few snaps whilst I was there, plus you guys can have a sneak peak at the... CHRISTMAS DECORATIONS!

WHO DO YOU LOVE? MARY-LOU.

£16 - Asos
Wow, oh wow, oh wow! I present you all "Mary-Lou Manizer" by The Balm.
Have you ever thought you could fall in love with a highlighter? If your answer is yes then go out and purchase this one.
I bought this around two weeks ago and all my other highlighters have been forgotton about and have been left in my make up storage just hibernating until I have hit pan on Mary Lou.

First of all how can you say no to that packaging it is absolutely adorable, that adorable it still sits in its little box.

The product itself is 8.5g, that is some highlighter, and I plan to use this on a regular basis.

On my skin tone the product gives a champagne colour finish however in some lights can give a light pink illusion which I absolutely love, it also has a rather large mirror, BONUS.

Overall I personally love this highlighter and believe it could make it into my top 10 beauty products this year. The pigmentation of this product is amazing, a tiny hit of the product on the brow bone, inner corner of the eye, cheekbones and even nose does the trick immediately. The colour of Mary-Lou is the shade I would automatically be drawn to when choosing a highlighter to finishing off my all time favourite bronze look, giving my skin a glowy, healthy and satin like finish.

NAKED BASICS PALETTE 2

Good morning everyone! As you may of seen from my Autumn wish list I have been dying to get my hands on this new palette from Urban Decay and one of my best friends (Sarah) decided to get me it for my birthday!

The new palette from Urban Decay consists of 6 shades, 5 being matte and 1 being of a more satin finish with a slight shimmer touch and all these shades can be used to create the most perfect look throughout the Autumn and Winter seasons due to their cool tones.

SKIMP - This is the one eyeshadow consisting of a slight shimmer, giving it a satin finish to the pale nude shade which is perfect for both a brow bone highlight or on the lid.
STARK - This shadow is a matte peachy-nude which I feel is perfect as a base colour before applying Skimp on the lid.
FRISK - This shadow is described as a "warm grey matte" being a favourite taupe shade of mine, and I absolutely love defining my crease with this shade.
COVER - Cover is a medium matte brown followed by..
PRIMAL - Which is a medium-dark matte brown, and blending together re-creates the finished look of "Buck" from the Naked Palette.
UNDONE - Undone is the darkest shadow in the palette being a very deep dark brown, used to smoke out outer corners and line the eye with on both top and bottom lashes.

Overall I think this an a stunning palette to create a natural toned down look with a slight edge to it and would definitely recommend you guys to put this onto your Autumn wish list or even your Christmas list?

Base - STARK
Lid - SKIMP
Crease - FRISK
Outer Corner - UNDONE

THIS WEEKS FAVOURITE FRIDAY PURCHASE

This week I decided to introduce my favourite purchase from this week.
I went shopping in Norwich with my boyfriend on Tuesday and bought a few bits, but fell upon this gorgeous coat in Zara. When I saw this item I noticed how beautiful the colour was, a very deep navy and when I tried it on the structure and fit was perfect, however my size wasn't present at the time:( I knew that as soon as I got home I needed to order this coat! So I did, I'm just waiting for this beauty to appear on my doorstep...

I feel that this coat would look perfect with a simple outfit such as jeans and boots paired with a slouchy shirt or blouse.

AUTUMN MAKE UP WISHLIST

Hello! I know this post is a little late, but I still thought why not and show you all my make up wish list for the season. During this time of year I do prefer a more neutral look running up towards the winter, especially with my complexion. As I have a medium-dark complexion during cold days my skin can look rather dull instead of glowy, so I do like to ensure my skin looks bright and awake! Hopefully, all these items will soon be in my makeup collection, however it might take a while of saving, if not then the Christmas List they shall go!

Zoeva Rose Gold Brushes - £55
These brushes are absolutely gorgeous. I have now wanted them for months and thought to myself, "right, this is the time and they will be yours!" So be prepared to see these featured on my blog sometime soon *she wishes*.

Chanel Lipstick in Satisfaction - £25

I have one other Chanel lipstick in Boy and I adore the texture of it, its so creamy on the lip and gives such moisture so why would I not buy another one and this shade looks just perfect for a peachy/nude lip to brighten up a neutral face.

Chanel eyeliner - Santal £19
I absolutely love the look of this brown shimmer liner. I would love to wear this with a brown smokey eye and smudge it onto the lower lash line to give the eyes an even more dramatic look.

Nars Blush in Lovejoy - £22.50
I feel that this blush would really complement my complexion during the Autumn, this dark shimmer blush would look perfect with a harsh contour and a simple eye, consisting of a cream shimmer and a dark brown crease.

Urban Decay Naked Basics 2 - £22
I do not own the first Naked basics palette and once the second one came out I knew I weren't going to, purely because I'm in love with this one! I felt that the first basics palette had many similarities to the Naked palette. So with this palette I can create simple matte looks or add other shimmer shadows for an even more dramatic look. This would also look great paired with the Chanel eyeliner in Santal.

So there you have it, these are my items that have made it onto my Autumn Make up Wish list, what do you guys have on yours?
