NAKED BASICS PALETTE 2

Good morning everyone! As you may of seen from my Autumn wish list I have been dying to get my hands on this new palette from Urban Decay and one of my best friends (Sarah) decided to get me it for my birthday!

The new palette from Urban Decay consists of 6 shades, 5 being matte and 1 being of a more satin finish with a slight shimmer touch and all these shades can be used to create the most perfect look throughout the Autumn and Winter seasons due to their cool tones.

SKIMP - This is the one eyeshadow consisting of a slight shimmer, giving it a satin finish to the pale nude shade which is perfect for both a brow bone highlight or on the lid.
STARK - This shadow is a matte peachy-nude which I feel is perfect as a base colour before applying Skimp on the lid.
FRISK - This shadow is described as a "warm grey matte" being a favourite taupe shade of mine, and I absolutely love defining my crease with this shade.
COVER - Cover is a medium matte brown followed by..
PRIMAL - Which is a medium-dark matte brown, and blending together re-creates the finished look of "Buck" from the Naked Palette.
UNDONE - Undone is the darkest shadow in the palette being a very deep dark brown, used to smoke out outer corners and line the eye with on both top and bottom lashes.

Overall I think this an a stunning palette to create a natural toned down look with a slight edge to it and would definitely recommend you guys to put this onto your Autumn wish list or even your Christmas list?

Base - STARK
Lid - SKIMP
Crease - FRISK
Outer Corner - UNDONE

THIS WEEKS FAVOURITE FRIDAY PURCHASE

This week I decided to introduce my favourite purchase from this week.
I went shopping in Norwich with my boyfriend on Tuesday and bought a few bits, but fell upon this gorgeous coat in Zara. When I saw this item I noticed how beautiful the colour was, a very deep navy and when I tried it on the structure and fit was perfect, however my size wasn't present at the time:( I knew that as soon as I got home I needed to order this coat! So I did, I'm just waiting for this beauty to appear on my doorstep...

I feel that this coat would look perfect with a simple outfit such as jeans and boots paired with a slouchy shirt or blouse.

AUTUMN MAKE UP WISHLIST

Hello! I know this post is a little late, but I still thought why not and show you all my make up wish list for the season. During this time of year I do prefer a more neutral look running up towards the winter, especially with my complexion. As I have a medium-dark complexion during cold days my skin can look rather dull instead of glowy, so I do like to ensure my skin looks bright and awake! Hopefully, all these items will soon be in my makeup collection, however it might take a while of saving, if not then the Christmas List they shall go!

Zoeva Rose Gold Brushes - £55
These brushes are absolutely gorgeous. I have now wanted them for months and thought to myself, "right, this is the time and they will be yours!" So be prepared to see these featured on my blog sometime soon *she wishes*.

Chanel Lipstick in Satisfaction - £25

I have one other Chanel lipstick in Boy and I adore the texture of it, its so creamy on the lip and gives such moisture so why would I not buy another one and this shade looks just perfect for a peachy/nude lip to brighten up a neutral face.

Chanel eyeliner - Santal £19
I absolutely love the look of this brown shimmer liner. I would love to wear this with a brown smokey eye and smudge it onto the lower lash line to give the eyes an even more dramatic look.

Nars Blush in Lovejoy - £22.50
I feel that this blush would really complement my complexion during the Autumn, this dark shimmer blush would look perfect with a harsh contour and a simple eye, consisting of a cream shimmer and a dark brown crease.

Urban Decay Naked Basics 2 - £22
I do not own the first Naked basics palette and once the second one came out I knew I weren't going to, purely because I'm in love with this one! I felt that the first basics palette had many similarities to the Naked palette. So with this palette I can create simple matte looks or add other shimmer shadows for an even more dramatic look. This would also look great paired with the Chanel eyeliner in Santal.

So there you have it, these are my items that have made it onto my Autumn Make up Wish list, what do you guys have on yours?

19TH BIRTHDAY IN LONDON

Hello! So yesterday was my 19th birthday and my boyfriend took me to London to see The Lion King in theatre. A little secret of mine is that I am absolutely obsessed with Disney films, more than your average child haha and The Lion King is one of my all time favourite films so this really was the best birthday present ever bought for me between my parents and boyfriend! The show followed the same story with a few extra songs which were not on the original film. It was a beautiful performance, the colours seen on stage were mesmerising and the singing, dancing and acting just made me cry the whole way through haha. It was literally such an amazing moment to see one of my favourite films performed right infront of me (not to mention we had the best seats! If you're thinking of going we had seats in the stalls numbers G15 & G16).

My Outfit:
Black Heeled Boots - Topshop
Black Skinny Jeans - Newlook
White Top with Chain Detail - Missguided
Cream Collarless Coat - Zara
Bag - Michael Kors

Me and Bruno (da boyfriend) are food fanatics, we love going to different places and trying new foods so it was our aim to find a new favourite restaurant in London. As it was my birthday I was able to choose, therefore I found a cute little Greek restaurant called "The Real Greek". From the outside it looks like a small and cute family run restaurant however the food was absolutely amazing. Now the way this restaurant serves their food is very different to your regular restaurant which is the reason I loved it so much. You order so many different appetisers to share and that is your main course, it is recommenced to have around 4 appetisers per person and it was perfect as we were able to try so many different dishes! Bruno and I chose; Salted Beer Battered Cod, Grilled Kalamari, Chicken Skewers, Chicken Wraps, Saffron Rice and the most gorgeous Greek bread. So if you're ever in Covent Gardens look out for this place because I will definitely be going back to this cute little place!

Thank you for reading this post, now go and book your tickets to see The Lion King at Lyceum Theatre, Covent Gardens and save your pennies and visit The Real Greek because it was honestly one of the most amazing days!

FRIDAY FAVOURITES

Hello! As my first post on this new blog I thought I would start by introducing my "Friday Favourites" a post that consists of all my favourite fashion and beauty finds from the previous week, some will be purchased items of my own and some will be images that have made it onto my forever growing wish list! If you wish to see certain types of items, brands or even a certain category one week then leave a comment below and I can assure you I will publish a little something for you!

So here it is, the first of many,  Friday Favourites...

1. Chanel Perfection Lumiere
I actually picked up this foundation at duty free and always wanted to try this certain product, so being tax free I couldn't help but purchase this little one. I absolutely love this foundation I have been wearing it non-stop ever since I bought it! This product is beautiful when wanting a medium to full-coverage finish (depending on the build). When first applying this foundation it can come across as very dewy and that it hasn't quite set, but give it about a minute and a gorgeous finish is given with a slight glow. I believe its retail price is £36 in the UK, so I know what question you probably want to ask me, Is it worth the money? In all honestly no it is not worth £36. It is rather long lasting I don't have to reapply on a night out which says something yet it can sometimes not have the best appearance when applied with certain brushes however I would purchase it all over again as a gift to myself because I am completely obsessed with it!

2. Real Techniques Expert Face Brush
I have many Real Techniques brushes and Mac however not quite the right brush when wanting to apply my Chanel Perfection Lumiere foundation... until now. Before I was trying foundation brushes from both Mac and Real Techniques I also experimented with the  Real Techniques buffing brush but I recently purchased the expert face brush from Real Techniques and it works wonders with this foundation. I am able to apply the product quickly and mostly evenly before the product dries on my face so this brush just had to make it into my favourites!

3. Armani Si Perfume
Yes, as my name is "Armarnie" my mum loves coming home and making me try all her new perfumes which happen to be Armani brand. Last week she introduced me to the fragrance Armani Si. This perfume is absolutely stunning, many would say that Vanilla is the most distinctive scent however a hint of peach is what hits my senses first. I love many of the Armani fragrances but after my mums wonder of a purchase this could be my new favourite perfume for the Autumn!

4. Garnier Ultimate Blends - Coconut Oil
Oh my years of life, I absolutely adore this product! I've had it for about a week and already used about 1/6 of the bottle! Because of me being mixed race I do have textured hair, the kind that looks lovely and healthy the day I wash it but the morning after it looks horrendous due to dry ends. I have always used Argan oil, however my friend mentioned coconut oil, I absolutely love anything coconut so I thought this oil would be perfect for me and it is. I can use this product as a heat protector and a frizz serum! TWO IN ONE. I love the finish this product gives to my hair and I have had so many compliments on how shiny and healthy my hair looks due to using this product. Another successful purchase by moi.

5. Body Shop Seaweed Toner
This little sample bottle is a saviour. I bought it for 50p as my boyfriend pointed it out to me and I can no longer go without this product. Ever have those days where you remove all your make up and still feel that your face isn't completely bare? I used this toner after removing what I thought was all of my make up and the little cotton wool pads revealed all and made my skin feel extremely fresh!

6. Chanel Boy Lipstick
This lipstick has lived on beauty blogs for as long as I can remember therefore I knew I had to give this one a go. This lipstick is the most perfect nude shade for me, due to my medium to dark complexion this lipstick has a lovely pink tone to match any pink of bronzed eye looks, which happen to be my two favourites!

7. Eyelure Naturalites 060
I go from fake lashes to fake lashes constantly, I don't have a favourite and as it stands now I don't think I ever will due to my indecisive eyelash needs. However I was actually in Savers and I found these for £1.99, BARGAIN RIGHT. At this present moment in time these lashes are just perfect they give the right amount of length to my lashes and the most perfect amount of volume. The way I would describe these is that they actually look like lash extensions rather than stick on's, and that is an absolute winner for me! Next time I wear these lashes, will probably be on my BIRTHDAY SUNDAY, I'll upload a picture for you all!
