SURVIVING FIRST WEEK OF UNIVERSITY

Good evening everybody! I am alive and managed to get through my first week of university successfully. I moved to Greenwich to study Media and Communications on the 19th of September so I am now onto my 9th day of living in London. I have ALWAYS wanted to live in London and I am so so so happy to finally be here!

Moving day I must admit was terrible, saying goodbye to my parents and Bruno was one of the most emotional experiences I've had because I was so excited to start my course and get to know all of my flatmates but at the same time I wouldn't see the most important people to me for a whole month which at the start was terrifying! (However me and Bruno are pathetic and couldn't stick to our one month deal so he came down a week later, ridiculous I know).

Before moving to Greenwich I found some of my flatmates on Facebook and we were speaking and decided to buy tickets for events which I could not wait for, because you know, Freshers week is supposed to be absolutely mental. However, within the whole week I have been here I have only been out for drinks once. I truly believe it's a myth that everyone goes out and meets their best friends within the first week. During freshers you're filled with so many different emotions because you just want to meet people and be social but on the other hand you're really missing home (well I was anyways).

So instead of getting crazy drunk every night (I did once and it was horrific and too embarrassing to discuss) myself and my flat mate Maddie booked a trip to go along the Thames which was beautiful, it was freezing cold but the sunset was one to see!

Another thing I've been up to all week is visiting the food market almost every single day. It is the most incredible thing I have ever seen being such a food lover. The market is full of so many stalls of different cultures, you've got; Brazilian, Thai, Portuguese, Jamaican and tonnes of stalls which caught my eye such as mini pancakes, home made truffles and of course CHURROS! So i'll probably go back tomorrow.

I have my first lecture tomorrow which I am strangle excited about and have so many events to come too so i'll keep you updated as much as I can! Have any of you guys just started uni or got any advice/stories for me?

LULU GUINNESS

Good afternoon girls! What a miserable few days we have had weather wise this bank holiday, I hope it hasn't ruined your plans too much!
Yesterday I visited some family that live in Slough and my Uncle insisted on taking me to Bicester Village, I've heard of it but never really knew how much of a "thing" it was and oh my goodness I went into my little happy place of excitement! It was beautiful. It is a designer outlet selling items from last season and at a great price, sometimes you're lucky to find in season items too! At first glance I saw hundreds of people getting off coaches and approaching this adorable village like shopping complex it was packed because of the deals you can find there! If you have never been save your pennies and get yourself down to Bicester Village!

So I was browsing around and was so eager to go into every shop possible (before boring my dad and uncles). I was able to look at beautiful Prada bags, Vivienne Westwood purses and the most gorgeous Fendi sunglasses! I want to go back purely for the sunglasses! I made sure that I checked out every shop I was interested in before purchasing anything because I didn't want to miss anything! And here they are..

Firstly I bought the Chloe clutch bag. Original retail price £245.

It's a simple little box clutch which is perfect size for an evening out. The clasp is super safe and it has a strong handle too. I absolutely love the design as it includes Lulu's signature lips on the front! So.. This bag was originally being sold for £245 and was down to £61 in the Bicester store and with an extra 20% off they had on that particular day I managed to get this clutch for £48.80 saving £196.20, I was ecstatic with the deal I found!!

The second item I bought was something I have been looking at for a while now. I have always wanted a cute little card holder to pop my debit cards into and also my oyster card when I move to London in just a couple of weeks and behold, I found this adorable little Lulu card holder!

The original price for this Lulu card holder is currently £45 however I managed to buy this little number for £28, how incredible is that price! I wasn't planning on spending that much on a card holder however it was just too pretty to pass by and knowing it's great quality it will last me a long time!

Altogether I got myself two items worth £290 for £76.80! You girls NEED to get yourself to Bicester Village and pick up some bargains for yourself because I will be heading back there for sure!

If you have already been let me know what items you were able to buy and how much of a saving you made!

WELCOME SUMMER

Afternoon girls! Or for me I should be saying good morning as I have only just recently woken up from a night out. We have had such a lovely week with the weather its definitely put a summer smile on my face and I've woken up to grey skies so I want to bring that summer back! I was reading a summer tag blog post and I feel that I haven't done a tag in a while so why not?

Whats your favourite thing about summer?
It has to be the sun. The sun is a natural healer for me, whenever i'm out the sun always manages to instantly cheer me up and everyone just seems so happy when the sun arrives! I also love that everyone gets together! Instead of all my friends and family socialising online we actually make time and plans to see each other.

Do you have a favourite summer drink?
Yes! That would be Starbucks cool lime refresher with a hint of strawberry. Because it's only available over the summer period I always feel the need to take full advantage of that precious time!

Is there a special place you like the visit each summer?
My family have this "Annual Senior outing" to Thorpe park each year and it really is our favourite and funniest day of the year for us! Abroad is always a good option too of course.

Whats your favourite make up look for summer?
It has to be completely bronze! I absolutely love neutral shadows alongside golds and bronzes paired with my all time favourite Chanel bronzer and my favourite highlighters, mac global glow and thebalms mary lou. You just can't not have those two in your collection girls! Also in the summer I like to use less eyeliner and more lashes, just to reduce the amount of products I have around my eyes because it does tend to smudge in the heat :(

Festivals of Vacations?
I always look forward to my vacations and I love an abroad trip and visiting places around the world! However I love festivals too, I have only been to wireless purely because camping is not for me and I have seen many of my favourites at Wireless (Trey Songz, Kendrick Lamar, Drake and Partynextdoor).

Signature summer hairstyle?
I'm not sure if I have a signature one as such but I hardly ever wear my hair up but I do tend to wear it up in a bun more in the summer, or I do like to wear a fish tail plait to work throughout the summer. I'm also a fan of hair accessories during summer such as my big bows!

Signature summer scent?
I have fallen in love with Estee Lauder's bronze goddess and I don't think I could return to any other summer scent because its absolutely gorgeous! If you have never smelt it, it really does just smell of summer! Coconut, sun cream, everything you would imagine to remind you of the beach!

Right then girls I want to know about your summer favourite especially the scents because as much as I love Estee Lauders Bronze Goddess I would love to discover a cheaper alternative as I can't always raid duty free!

My Bucket List - Current 2015

Hiya girls! This post was very last minute for me as I'm currently sitting in bed writing this. But, I was thinking all about my recent trip to Mexico and all the amazing things I done which I never thought I would and it made me think of creating my own bucket list! Many people have a slight idea of what they would love to accomplish in their lives but I want to officially share all my desires!

1. PASS MY DRIVING TEST
Its time to announce that the test is finally booked! I have put so much money and time into driving that to not pass would be absolutely devastating to me so I really want to be driving by September the latest (purely because if I fail my re-take will have to be in September, annoying right).

2. HAVE AN AMAZING FIRST YEAR AT UNI
As you may or may not of known I do start University in September and to be honest I an petrified. I don't know how I am going to move away from my family and leaving bruno here will be heartbreaking! I know I have all their full support but I just hope I do well so it will all be worth it in the end!

3. BLOGGING PARTNER?
So, when I start in September I will be studying media & communications and I am hoping that I will meet someone that I get along with super well and has an interest in blogging too because I would love to start a Youtube channel with a partner as I feel the Youtube crowd is missing some good duos!

4. TRAVEL
Now almost everyone has "travel" on their bucket list however I realise it is going to be so difficult whilst at Uni due to lack of money and time. However my ideal way of travelling wouldn't be to jet off for an entire year but to gradually see different parts of the world, for example I'd love to do about 2 weeks in Italy visiting; Rome, Florence, Milan and Venice.

5. SAVING
I'm all for the "you only live once" and "make the most of life" however you can't do that without money and that is true no matter how hard you try to argue you can! My aim is to save as much as I can whilst at Uni which will not be easy but I don't want to leave having to move back home again, I don't think I will be able to go from living i the heart of London to moving back to Norfolk, I literally cannot wait for when me and Bruno to get a place together!

So of course I have a lot more I would love to achieve, do and BUY! However these are my most important and current things I would love to tick off first! What do you girls have on yours?

MEXICO; VISITING PUERTO VALLARTA

Good afternoon my readers! Hopefully you've had a lovely weekend and are now relaxing as you should be on your Sunday! Today I will be sharing all of my experiences and photos of mine and Brunos first holiday together, visiting Mexico, Puerto Vallarta. Mexico was never our first choice of destination as we really wanted to go to Greece, however, over the Christmas holidays it was mentioned to us that we should look in the Christmas sales and that's when we fell upon an incredible deal to the Riu Vallarta, Mexico! you may have a seen a slight Instagram spam but I just wanted to share a few more pictures from our week away and tell you all about the crazy things we got up to!

The Riu Vallarta, the most gorgeous hotel I have stayed in. The outside may look like a palace, but as soon as you step outside the lobby the scenery is just beautiful, it really is palm tree paradise.

Our first full day/night consisted of going crazy in the gigantic waves (bruno), and me watching on the sand. Viewing palm tress and sipping on the cocktail of the day (Tropical pick me up), and eating endless amounts of food at the buffet.

Me and Bruno both love trips out as well as lounging on the beach and by the pool so we had an agreement that we would each choose a trip we would love to do, and Bruno being the adrenaline kinda guy he is chose for us to go on a jungle exhibition.. yes, swinging over mountains, river rafting and everything you would not expect me to do, but it was honestly the best day and so fun!  The views were just incredible considering we were on zip wires that were 400ft high and up to lengths of 2km! We done a number of activities starting with the zip lines that I surprising found relaxing, then our next activity was  abseiling down the face of a cliff (that view wasn't as relaxing). We then got into the river in rubber rings and finished our adventure riding a mule back to the top of the mountains. After those exhausting few hours we took the time to sit and eat some authentic fajitas with a fantastic view of the mountains!

Bikini Top - ASOS
Bikini Bottoms - Victoria's Secret

Our third day consisted of an early morning walk down to the beach and exploring all the hotels along the bay. Bruno loved having all the waves to himself whilst I chilled taking endless amounts of pictures. We then found this strip full of palm trees, and being a blogger all you're going to think of is "What a cool background for pictures!" After our lonely little photo shoot we found this tiny shack which sold what we were desperate to find.. SOMBREROS! And yes we bought the largest we could find, unfortunately they were not the easiest to wear on the plane back home.

Here come the hilarious posey pictures..

Bikini Top - Ocean Gem
Bikini Bottoms - River Island

So my chosen trip was to visit the Marietas Eco Discovery secret beach thinking it would be such a lovely chilled out day... I was wrong. Firstly we took an hour long boat trip where I discovered I do get sea sick, thats always fantastic and then we were told to get to the beach its over a 200m swim IN FULL OPEN OCEAN UNDER A CAVE. Once we got over the struggle of the swim the beach truly was beautiful and a gorgeous scene, something I doubt I will see again. And of course the photographers love couples so yes they done a shoot for us. To get back to the boat you had to swim against the current which was even worse after being stung by a jellyfish, yep, my first jellyfish sting was not a fun experience. When we got back onto the boat we had a lovely sandwich/salad lunch and got the opportunity to go paddle boarding, snorkelling and canoeing in the sea which was pretty fun, and to end we got to see dolphins in their natural habitat!

Thank you so much Mexico! But now comes the hard part, where to next? If you guys have any suggestions on destinations, hotels etc we would love to know!

MY HAPPNIESS

Hi girls! I hope you're feeling super great today as I definitely am because I have just returned from Mexico and had such a fantastic time! However I am sad to be back to ordinary life and having to get up and make my own breakfast. I will be doing a post very soon on my trip to Mexico which will probably go up sometime this week. Anyways I was reading through loads and loads of posts which I had to catch up on and then I fell upon a happiness post and me being so happy today I thought I should probably do a post on happiness too! Now there are many things that bring joy to my life currently so here are a few I want to share with you;

Seeing your food coming towards you in a restaurant
Waking up super early and seeing the whole day
Monday nights for Dance Moms and Made in Chelsea
New makeup is always a happiness
Discovering that a restaurant has calamari on their starter menu
Your hair still being intact when you get home
Finding money on a night out - thats basically free drinks right?
Being paid more that you thought you were going to get
When your favourite song comes on in the club and you and your friends just know its time to get down
Nails being on point
Finally seeing your friends who have come home from Uni
Getting your work out complete
Long road trips which include headphones and number one jams
When the family gets together after weeks of being apart
New underwear sets
"Marnie you can finish your shift early if you like"
Completing a book
Falling asleep in the ultimate snuggle position
Doing things which I never imagined I would ever do
Sunshine, no matter what I'm doing the sun makes me happy
Realising how much fun being with my annoying boyfriend actually is after spending our first holiday together

HOLIDAY WISH LIST

Good morning girls! It's exactly a week until me and Bruno set off on our first holiday together to Mexico and I am super super SUPER excited! I basically have all my holiday bits together but its always infuriating finding new things that may not come in time or you have already bought a similar item. Below are some things I wish I saw earlier so that they would be coming to Mexico with me, but who says they can't be for after my holiday!

1. I absolutely love this bag! The size, the colour, everything is perfect and just screams summer to me! I think it would be perfect to use as either a travel bag on the plane, a beach bag or even both. Considering its a designer bag I think the price is reasonable at £180, so who says it wont be an upcoming buy for me!
2. The sandals are just gorgeous. I was never a fan of the gladiator look until being inspired by Kourtney Kardashian. She really knows how to pull off the high leg sandals, however I think i'll stick to the low ones for now.
3. I mean who doesn't love Triangl bikinis! I love bright colours however this one has to be my favourite as its just more simple compared to the others which consist of around 4 different colours!
4. Again, I never warmed to cat eye sunglasses until spotting them on the oldest Kardashian sister Kourtney! They really suit her face shape and I discovered that they also suit mine, thanks Kourt!
5. Hats are everywhere nowadays. I always need to wear a hat because I get migraines if I'm in direct sunlight for too long, so why not look fancy whilst soaking up the heat in a floppy hat instead of a beach hat.

Whats on your holiday wish lists girls? And what's your favourite from my list?

MY MAC LIPSTICK COLLECTION

Good afternoon girls! What a lovely day it is, and I'm stuck inside bored and alone so this is the perfect time for a blog post I guess. I've currently moved jobs, still at the same company though so it's been a bit crazy with shifts, I've also had so much holiday planning to do and getting my body in shape so I haven't been online that much. Today I wanted to share with you my mac lipstick collection as last year I think was when I bought my first one and now I've got quite a few stashed away and I plan on increasing that too!

The first lipstick I ever bought from Mac was "Peach Passion" but that was lost on a very irresponsible night out, so take that in girls, never take one of your favourite lipsticks out into the wild!

I then purchased "Vegas Volt" and "Chatterbox". These were totally random buys, it was coming into spring and I just really wanted some bright and vibrant colours to try out. Personally I'm not a major fan of these I just don't think they work great with my skin tone and I've currently warmed to more of a matte finish.

"Angel" and "Siren Song" were then my next purchases, Angel being a simple every day pink and Siren Song being the most bare colour to ever exist. I actually bought "Siren Song" to apply as a base if I wanted to wear a matte shade and make it more sheen, it also works really well beneath lipliners.

"Ruby Woo" well what can I say about this one, its an all time classic really isn't it! What Mac collection doesn't consist of Ruby Woo, it really is the perfect red which I love on myself and all my friends seem to love it too!

The last two lipsticks I bought from Mac were inspired by "Durrani Popal" one of the DASH Dolls. I absolutely love her, she has such a unique look! I follow her on Instagram and she done a post on her favourite lipstick at the time which happened to be "Kinda Sexy" and of course I had to buy it! Its the most gorgeous matte shade but works great with a gloss too! And lastly is "Mocha". Since wearing Kinda Sexy non stop I discovered my love for nudes and brown/pinks which made me love Mocha, which is now my new fav!

Apologies for the lack of examples on myself but my selfie game is not 100% right now.

HOLIDAY HAUL: ACCESSORIES

Evening girls and Happy Monday! I hope you all had a lovely weekend if you were off work and had on school/university work to get on with! I've just come back from an amazing weekend in London/Colchester with my friends. It was my friend Sarahs 19th birthday last week so on Saturday we travelled to Colchester to visit her at Uni and then got the train into London so get our shop on and stuff our faces! Me and friends all have different styles so we had a whole list of shops we wanted to visit. Below are some of the items I bought for my holiday which is actually in 39 days!!! I am beyond excited.

I bought this white clutch bag from H&M for only £14.99 which I think is a really good deal. Its on the larger end of the scale when it comes to clutch bags but that is perfect for me because I like to stuff as much rubbish and unnecessary items into my bag as I can. I also really love the colour, and I know you're probably thinking its only white however its the most clean white I've come across when searching for a white bag, its not a creamy off white, it literally is WHITE, which will go with all the many white clothes i've bought for my holiday, so don't be expecting too much colour in my photos to come.

Now then, I don't know how long I have wanted a floppy hat for. Every time I go with Topshop, or any shop in fact which sells them I always try one on, say I'll buy it one day and never get round to it, but saturday was the day I finally gave in! I bought it from H&M for £14.99 which is a lot better than £28 from Topshop! I absolutely love it, especially for holiday as I get awful migraines when I've been in the sun for too long so this is perfect to wear and I guess I'll look pretty stylish too. The sandals were my deal of the day! They were...£6 from Forever 21! I think they're so practical but go with every thing too. They're a faux white leather material and for £6 they seem pretty sturdy too which is another bonus! They are also brilliant because I have tiny ankles and also have issues when buying sandals to fit because I have to pierce extra holes in them just to wrap them around my ankles but these have so many fitted holes already! (She jumps for joy when trying them on at home).

This little number is long awaited one. I discovered this brand which does custom made bikinis to your size in Australia, yes Australia. This is the most perfect fitting bikini I've ever bought! You can choose you back size, for example; 6,8,10 etc and then your bra cup size, A,B,C etc. I absolutely love the fit and how well it holds me all in because it isn't my smallest area. The website allows you to choose from around 3 different styles and then all different colours and patterns! I went for the black and white because it was a safe bet for something from the other side of the world! They say give it around 5 days for your bikini to be made and then about 10 days for delivery, mine took about two weeks so if you're wanting one i'd order it soon!

And lastly is my favourite product of the weekend! Me and my friends actually found Victorias Secret on Oxford Street and our little faces just lit up with excitement and joy. I've only been in the store once at Westfield and that one time I was broke so I knew that I wanted to get something this time! I went in wanting to get an underwear set and a bikini set but it was just so so so busy in there! I found an adorable bikini which I loved but the top didn't fit as nice as I would've liked so I settled to just get the bottoms and I will find a top to match elsewhere, and I mean I have 3 colours to choose from! Orange, pink or black. I am a little sad I didn't get an underwear set but it was far to busy to then have to try that on too!

Overall we had such a lovely weekend, I absolutely love it when we're all together because it doesn't happen much anymore and it really does make you realise how much you miss people and love their company! I would also just love to say that Sarah told me and introduced me to "Ben's Cookies" they were honestly the best cookies I have ever had in my life and that is no understatement! So get yourself some Bens Cookies next time you're 'living it up in the city!'

THIS WEEKS HAPPINESS

Happy Sunday evening girls! I am not going to lie to you so I am going to openly say it.. I went out last night and I am absolutely zonked so this is only a small post for today I am afraid! This week I have been in such a happier spirit and I just wanted to share with you a few things that have made me happy this week.

1. So firstly I got this new outfit which I absolutely adore, I got the khaki square cami from Missguided in the sale for around £7.99 and the black midi skirt with a slit from ASOS for £35 and its the outfit I wore last night. Seeing my friends Tayler&Ellen, my boyfriend and a few of my work friends was just such a good night and it made me realise how little I do go out, so fudge savings, i'm all about partying now!

2. So.... BRUNO CAME HOME THIS WEEK, MY LITTLE BUDDY IS BACK AND I'M SO SO HAPPY. I am literally so pathetic, he went away for a week and I felt lonely. But yes he is back now, with a passport so Mexico here we come! To celebrate we took a little trip into Norwich and went to a restaurant called Zizzi. Bruno wanted to take us somewhere we have never eaten before and we love Italian food so this place made sense. Oh my gosh, it was so so good! For starters we ordered the Italian bread bucket and calamari, two of our favourite foods so we couldn't go wrong there! For my main course I had the King prawn linguine and just looking at my plate excited me before I even tried the dish, but I would highly recommend it! (Without the chilli, I'm a wimp). If you have never been to Zizzi and love Italian food, please take a trip there! The prices are reasonable, the food is great and the decor is just so cute. They also have an offer on at the moment so if you go to the website some restaurants are offering 30% of main meals, so grab a code and book a table!

3. I set myself a goal at the beginning of the year to take some time off of the Internet and social media etc and start reading more in preparation for uni, and I am actually enjoying it more than I thought. If you follow me on Instagram you'll know I was reading The Great Gatsby, now I am onto Gone Girl. I have seen the film which is why I wanted to read the book because the story is just fantastic. All I can say is this book has consumed much of my time over this week because I just can't put it down! Thank you Gillian Flynn!

4. You can't go wrong with a little bit of shopping can you. I didn't even plan on getting anything for my holiday but Zara hooked me up with a few little numbers! I got a cream and navy, well I think its navy I can't tell if its navy or black? playsuit and a pair of white shorts for Mexico! After purchasing these items it really hit me how close mine and Brunos holiday is and I am super excited for it! 47 DAYS TO GO (not that I am counting or anything).

So, thats what has made me happy this past week! What about you guys?

NO MAKE UP, MAKE UP FACE

Hello girls! I hope your week so far has been wonderful, Bruno has currently deserted me to go to Portugal and FINALLY get his passport so we can actually make it to our holiday destination this year so I just hope you aren't feeling as lonely as I am without my little buddy. Today I really wanted to do a post on my go to no make up make up face. I normally go to this look when i'm off to the gym so I don't look completely dead at the end of my work out or when i'm off to Tesco which is the place i'm at 24/7. In the process I use 5 products however I feel that only three have great relevance as other options for the other two products can be replaced or switched up.

1. Loreal Lumi Magique Pure Light Primer
I bought this primer only about two weeks ago but its already made it to my number one primer to date! I must admit I haven't tried LOADS of primers to be an excellent judge but i've played around with about 6 different ones so I have a little knowledge on them. I just love applying this to my face, firstly because it has a pump which is always a bonus and secondly it just makes my skin super bright, whether its worn on its own or underneath my foundation. £9.99 well spent for me!

2. Maybelline Lash Sensational
I am ever so fussy when it comes to mascaras and if i must say it a little bit of a beauty "snob" to them. For some reason I really struggle to love a drugstore mascara and I have no idea why its so silly! However, two weeks ago I picked up the Maybelline Lash Sensational purely because I ran out of mascara and had to get one pronto, and I sure made a good pick. Finally, a drugstore mascara I actually, not like, but love! I was unsure at first because the brush is very odd to apply with but once I figured it out the thing works wonders! Not many mascara can separate, add volume and lengthen my lashes with just one coat, so I am super impressed! So this is a great mascara to apply when it a rush, you can skip all the unnecessary application of endless coats because to be quite honest, its just pure faff.

3. Anastasia Dip Brow
My last product is of course the best of all which I have waited ages to by but never knew which shade to purchase. I was torn between the Anastasia Beverly Hills dip brow and the brow wiz and I just took a gamble with the dip brow, you can suggest that I'm in a little of brow heaven! I have never been a major fan of filling in my brows purely because I never had good products to do so. This product is honestly beautiful, you don't need to apply much at all so I know it will last and it is just so simple to apply. I did order the brow brush to go with it and its just a perfect match!

The other two products I didn't mention that happen to be in my no make up, make up face routine is my collection concealer and any translucent loose powder to set it.

Brows, lashes, and a glowing base - excuse the creases, I believe someone forgot to set when taking this photo, oops!

NEW LITTLE OBSESSIONS

Good afternoon girls! I haven't been on my blog a lot recently as one of my new years resolutions was to have a complete lifestyle change around and I am so happy to be able to come out and say at the end of February that I have conquered it already! In this post I am going to write about all my new found little obsessions, cleansing my life of pointless lounging around and eating horribly I've picked up some new habits which have benefited me greatly.

Lemons
Yes, Lemons. I am now a true believer of the phrase "When life gives you lemons, make lemonade." However, I do not intend to make lemonade, but to recognise that lemons can aid your health and body appearance. Every night before I go to bed I drink a glass of water with a slice of lemon it in and squeeze a little of the juice in there too. I also do this as soon as I wake up in the morning. The benefits I have noticed from this is weight loss. I don't want to be super skinny but I do want to cleanse toxins out of my body and loose a little body fat so that I look more toned and this method is definitely showing that the acid from the lemons can increase your metabolism.

Green Tea and Lemons
I started drinking peach and cherry blossom flavoured green tea, replacing sugar was a touch of honey and two lemons to enhance the flavour and sweetness, it is so so good. I wake up in the morning really looking forward to my daily tea. My boyfriend suggested that I do this as he is aware I want to loose a little body weight, however I'm not sure if I'm seeing benefits in that way but I certainly feel more awake and alert throughout the day. I feel that I am a sufferer from low body iron, therefore I feel tired more than the average person, but green tea is giving me the kick I need!

Oatmeal Pancakes
I genuinely love making these and its a great way to get your morning fibre, protein and vitamins. Making pancakes gives me that little bit of happiness in the morning. I decided to experiment and came up with my own recipe which make delicious oatmeal pancakes so if you would like this recipe leave a comment below.

Work Outs
As a child and throughout high school I would say I was quite a sporty girl until I discovered makeup, clothes and boys! But I still have my determined mind set and competitiveness which has helped me to enjoy physical exercise once again. I do about 40 minutes of exercise almost every day. These exercises range from; HITT sessions, my boyfriend has contributed into designing my circuits, Pilates and Cardio sessions at the gym. If you're feeling low, unmotivated or just slightly unhappy I would honestly recommend fitting a work out in as it really increases my positive spirit and I have noticed that its had a positive impact on others too!

So there are just a few of my new daily obsessions that 1, I enjoy doing and 2, know are going to benefit me short term but I am determined to carry it through to long term. I hope that this post maybe influenced some of you guys to take up a lifestyle change, as we do only get one body and should take care of it. JANUARY FAVOURITES

Welcome to February girls! Today I would love to share with you my favourite January beauty products. I actually feel that January went rather slow, I know its a very unpopular opinion but when you think about it, Christmas and New Years feels ages ago now. With the cold weather I have much preferred being snuggled at home with my warm Ribena, reading The Hobbit, working out and watching Pretty Little Liars with my friend Tayler over going out and shopping for new goodies, however I did order a few online and these are my favourite for this month!

First up are my Zoeva Rose Gold Brushes which I absolutely adore. One, because they are just beautiful to look at and two, they are just perfect to use. I got this set for Christmas and it consists of; a silk finish brush which I use to apply my Chanel Perfection Lumiere foundation, a large powder brush, a concealer buffer which I love to blend in my concealer/ Macs prep and prime together, a blush brush, a face shape brush which I use to contour with Nars Laguna and three eye brushes. I have got round to using the soft definer and petit crease brush which apply product beautifully however I am waiting to purchase Bobbi Browns gel liner before trying out the wing liner brush. I would definitely recommended this brand of make up brushes to anyone who doesn't know where to start or someone who just needs something new in their collection! Another favourite is actually the Kilner jar that they are displayed in, I bought a couple of these for my other brushes too and how adorable do they look, I bought them from Wilkinsons for..£3!
Next is Macs lipstick in Angel. I have been wearing this lipstick constantly. Its the most perfect pink shade for my skin tone as its not too over powering or to dull, it sits on my lips just right. The colour is also perfect for me as it doesn't just go with a pink based face but a bronzed based face too which is my personal favourite. I know for a fact I will be re-purchasing this lipstick once its hit its end.
Ohhhh, hello Illamasqua. I made an order and it was the most perfect cream order I've ever made. First up is the cream blush in Zygomatic which is a naked pink shade, and oh my it is absolutely gorgeous. For events/days other than work I have been wearing this blush non-stop as it works beautifully which Chanel's bronzing base as my contour. It has such a gorgeous finish leaving the skin looking super glowy, highlight isn't even necessarily needed when wearing this product it is that eye-catching! The best thing is you only need the tiniest amount of product on your brush and it goes such a long way! The second Illamasqua product I ordered was the Vintage Metallix cream shadow in the shade Embellish. This product allows easy application with a brush or even with a steady finger when applied directly to the lid, the product is of a metallic cream-gel texture which is very longer lasting and build-able. You can easy wear this colour on the lid with a soft brown in the crease and a dark brown in the outer corner to make a perfect bronzed look.
From top to bottom - 1/ Mac Angel lipstick, 2/ Illamasqua Zygomatic Cream blush, 3/ Illamasqua Vintage Metallix
What are you favourite products from last month girls? And would you recommend any for myself?
